In Ferozepur 24 personnel Deployed in civil dress reaching people asking for any help
Police launch ‘May I Help You’ service
Ferozepur, March 25, 2020: When India has entered total lockdown after the spike in cases, all-out efforts are also being maintained at the district level to prevent the spread of coronavirus and meanwhile Ferozepur police has also launched the services of ‘May I Help You’ by fielding 24 police personnel on Wednesday.
It’s a new initiative by the Ferozepur Police to help the people during the curfew to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, said SSP Ferozepur Shri Bhupinder Singh immediately after fielding a team of 24 police personnel in the field.
Giving detailed information, SSP Bhupinder Singh said that all these employees are deployed at the Saanjh Kendra and they have put on duty for public service. They all had their bikes and mobiles and placed in front of the vehicle, in large letters so that people can contact them.
He said, the whole city is divided into four sectors and in each sector, five to six employees have been assigned the duty. These employees will be moving on their bikes in their area and offer help to the people.
SSP Shri Bhupinder Singh said that if anybody has any medical emergency or needy of anything at home and pass on to the district administration for providing immediate help. In other words, they will work as a link between the public and police administration. These employees will also take steps to provide curfew passes, rations, medicines, medical help to the people so that they do not face any problems during the curfew.
The list of mobile numbers of this special team has also been shared by SSP Bhupinder Singh and they can be called in any eventuality.
