Fatehgarh Sahib, April 12, 2020: The District Judicial Officers led by Nirbhow Singh Gill District and Session Judge has not only surrendered their security guards but also donated one day's salary along with their staff amounts to Rs.2.23 Lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund in response to the appeal of Chief Minister to donate generously for the help of aftermath of COVID pandemic.
Asish Kumar Bansal Civil Judge Senior Division said that on the appeal of District and Session Judge the Judicial officers surrendered their security guards, so that they may help the people in maintain curfew restrictions and distribute ration and essential commodities and donate for the cause. He said that the world is coming together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing governments, organizations, industries and individuals together.
He said that it is the time when everyone should come forward and extend whatever support he can, every contribution is imperative, what matters is the lives of people. The Judicial Officers also expressed gratitude to doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, police, government staff, and other people who are engaged in providing essential services.
