We often find ourselves tensed, nervous and anxious during difficult times. It is totally fine to experience all this because different people react to things differently. But rather than feeling disheartened, we should all together adapt and make best use of the things at hand.
We have often complained about our busy lives, now is the chance to do what we couldn’t do when we were busy running here and there. No doubt our normality is suspended and life has slowed down for all of us, but do you know what is the best part? We can proudly say that we fought the crisis with grace, courage, laughter and most importantly, together.
We can use this time to mend the broken relationships, by using technology we can stay connected to friends and family, working out and following advice given by the experts to offer some comfort and support. Let us not waste the time to re-evaluate everything, let go of things and start anew.
We are definitely not in control of things going around us and we might feel stuck at home, but can we really do anything about it? No. But by staying at home and focusing on what we want, we can definitely achieve our ultimate goal.
Rather than focusing on the negative things, we should surround ourselves with positivity so that we can have energy to fight this pandemic. This lockdown has helped many of us find our inner talents, do what we are passionate about, think about our future, have deep family discussions and have majorly taught us how to find happiness in small things. We are able to do the things which we wouldn’t have done pre-lockdown or would have taken time to do.
In current time of constant negative and fake messages, we need an antidote to keep a positive attitude so that we can walk forward with determination and hope. We should keep ourselves busy with activities that are positive in nature, heartwarming, stress reducing and activities which include a lot of laughter! Trust me; we’ll get through this very soon.
I would like to end by quoting Michelle Obama, Former First Lady of USA, “You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all the world’s problem at once but don’t ever underestimate the importance you have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.”
