CT UNIVERSITY: STUDY WITH A DIFFERENCE*
Established in 2016, CT University (CTU) has grown as a leading institution of higher education in India. CTU is a multi-disciplinary, student-centric and research-focused university offering a full range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. With its need-based programmes in academics, research and social engagement, CTU has housed different constituent Schools, namely School of Design & Innovation, School of Humanities and Physical Education; School of Hotel Management, Airlines & Tourism; School of Law; School of Engineering & Technology; School of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Sciences; School of Management Studies and School of Agriculture & Natural Sciences. Initiated steps to strengthen research activities of different disciplines through setting up of a Research Division called RICE. CTU has taken entry into research by having startups ‘Robonova’, fashion industry by launching its brand ‘Fab CT’, has started ‘Aryana Bakery’, with sale outlets on the campus itself. Also, the University has set-up a Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS) to carry out diverse activities such as offering online and in-person learning for change-makers.
Started a unique programme of identifying quality students with skills and training in their professional areas where students are considered for various placements such as Administration Coordinators, Admin Assistants, PR Executives, Project Managers, Research Coordinators, etc. CTU has a School of Happiness and Well Being to focus on personal happiness, and turning out students who will give back to the world in a positive way. With ‘Zero Waste Campus’, the message is being disseminated that there is no waste left on the campus. Enthusiastically joined the national activities like Make in India, Start-up India in new technologies, Research Parks, Skill India, etc. It underlines the generation of need-based technology in scientific research and running of educational programmes relevant to the emerging corporate needs and believes in introducing the need-based innovations in its programmes, policies and outreach mechanisms “Innovate or Evaporate".
