Cincinnati Ohio, USA, July 20, 2020 :
A 26-year-old reporter of CBS 2 died Saturday in a moped accident in New York. She was riding a Ravel moped behind another man. Ravel mopeds are becoming common in Manhattan; these are available to be taken from the designated locations. A person older than 21 can unlock the vehicle with a phone app. For reasons unknown, the moped swerved, and they both fell. Police took them to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, where she was declared dead. The driver of the moped survived with minor scratches.
Nina was a native of Pennsylvania, and she graduated in journalism from Syracuse University in upstate Manhattan in 2016 and started to work for News12 Connecticut. Ms. Kapur loved what she did -“So grateful to celebrate another year of life today in my favorite city, working my dream job!” – shewrote on her Facebook last year. In June 2019, Ms. Kapur joined CBS. “For the first time since March 10, there are no new coronavirus deaths in New York, Good News,” she reported on June 5.
Ms. Kapur will be missed dearly.
