Chandigarh, January 8, 2021: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday submitted a memorandum to the Vice-chancellor Professor Raj Kumar, demanding the resumption of educational activities in the Panjab University campus.

ABVP unit President Paras Rattan said that life around is normal, but the university has still not decided to reopen the campus for regular students.
"Education is the only sector that has suffered the most since March 2020 and continues to this day. Online classes are not efficient and are causing various problems to the students due to network connectivity etc," said Paras Rattan.
ABVP Panjab University Unit Secretary Hrishika Raj said that all the college campuses in Chandigarh are slowly opening up again. MCM DAV College, PGGC 46 both have issued a reopening notification.
The ABVP demanded from the VC to take action towards resuming educational activities on campus, reopening hostels, and allowing students to come and stay.
