Amloh MLA lays foundation stone of ROB & RUB at Mandi Gobindgarh

Fatehgarh Sahib, January.8, 2021: The state government is committed to the overall development of the State, and all the development projects are initiated as per the demands and wishes of the people, said Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha MLA Amloh, while addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of the work of Railway Over Bridge 151-C and Under Bridge to be constructed for Rs. 42 crores at Mandi Gobindgarh town today.
He said that this project would fulfill the decade’s old demand of the people and would be completed in a year.
“The length of this railway over bridge would be 790 meters and the carriageway would be 9.5 meters, whereas the length of Railway under Bridge would be 320 meters and it would be meant for light traffic,” he said.
He said that lights would also be provided on the railway under bridges so that there would be no problem in traffic.
“The construction of this bridge had been in demand in the area for decades as the gates of the mainline remained closed for a long time and the common man is facing difficulties due to long-standing traffic jams and it would save the precious time of the common man and would also ease the traffic congestion to Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Fatehgarh Sahib,” he added.
Besides this MLA also laid the foundation stones of other development projects to be completed at the cost of Rs.10 crore.
Harinder Singh Bhambri, Chairman District Planning Committee said that the present government was fulfilling its promises to the people in a phased manner and CM Captain Amrinder Singh will be remembered for his development agenda.
