Victory Flame to celebrate 50 years of Indian Victory during 1971 War arrives at Fazilka

Fazilka, February 23, 2021:Fazilka Military Station celebrates the Swarnim Vijay Varshin commemoration of 50 years of spectacular victory of India in the 1971 war. Station Commander, Fazilka Military Station received the Victory Flame in the Station and paid homage to the brave soldiers of the 1971 war.
All ranks of the Military Station and Veterans of Fazilka also paid their homage to the martyrs of the 1971 war.
The victory flame reached Fazilka on 23 February 2021 and will be stationed here till 03 March 2021, after which it will move to Abohar Military Station. During this period, various ceremonies will be conducted at Fazilka Military Station and Asafwala Shaheedon ki Samadhi - ASacred Memorial, to felicitate the veterans and Veer Naris.
The ceremonies include a wreath-laying at Asafwala Shaheedon ki Samadhi, Weapons and Equipment display, Band display, Victory March in the area of responsibility of the Brigade, and felicitations of the Veterans and Veer Naris on 26 February 2021.
The glorious victory in the 1971 war is not only a matter of pride for all Indians but more so for the 67 Infantry Brigade which upheld the Indian flag by protecting Fazilka from the nefarious designs of the enemy.
