Kapurthala: Administration starts "COVID Front Line Workers" course
57 youth to be trained under 21 days course
Deputy commissioner inaugurates first batch in Kapurthala
Kapurthala, June 16, 2021: To deal with the current Covid pandemic situation, the district administration Kapurthala has taken a step towards training of youth to tackle the Covid patients and post Covid patients in recovery .
The course named " Covid Front Line Worker Under M/s JITM Skill Pvt. Ltd." Was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Mrs Deepti Uppal today at PMKVY-3.0 (PMKK) skill center near Bhatia Hospital Kapurthala.
A total of 57 candidates will be trained under this course. Candidates will go for 21 days training on how to take care covid patients in the center. Post covid care will also be part of this training.
Deputy commissioner said that after 21 days training they will go for on the job training in hospital for next 3 months and will be helped in placement subsequently.
She also said that mobilization for this course was done by District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Kapurthala and each trainee will go through counseling by career counselor of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises. Deputy Commissioner distributed kits of this course among trainees.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Sh. Surinderpal Angra, Smt.Neelam Mahay, District Employment Generation and Training officer,.Rajesh Bahri BMM, Punjab Skill Development Mission, Ajay kumar JITM, Kamal Kumar Center In charge, and Gaurav Kumar career counselor DBEE were present on the occasion.
