Mohali Mayor Jeeti Sidhu lays foundation stone for construction of 1st floor of Dharamshala in Mataur
Mohali, June 16, 2021:
Mohali Municipal Corporation (MC) Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu laid the foundation stone for the construction of the first floor of Dharamala in Mohalla Burewali of village Mataur on Wednesday.
The mayor declared that Rs 14 lakh would be spent on the construction of this floor. Senior Deputy Mayor Amrik Singh Somal and Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi were also present on the occasion.
Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu on the occasion said that city-like facilities were being provided in the villages coming under Mohali Municipal Corporation. He said that this was a long standing demand of the people of the village which was being met by the Municipal Corporation and its construction would facilitate the people to conduct their social programs here.
The Mayor also said that Mohali Municipal Corporation has passed several other development works in the last meeting regarding the development of the city and the multi-faceted development of the city is being carried out as per the needs of the people as well as the advice and opinion of the people. He said that no hindrance would be allowed in the matter of development and no compromise would be made with quality.
Apart from the officials of the corporation, Pradeep Soni, Amrik Singh Sarpanch, Binda Mataur, Makhan Singh, Baljinder Pappu, Sudagar Khan, Dilbar Khan, Hansraj Sharma, Kaka Bania, Malkit Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur and Ashwani Rana were present on the occasion.
