Over 2 thousand youth gets job in Rozgar Mela organized by Jagpal Abulkhurana
Lambi (Muktsar), September 10, 2021: More than two thousand youngsters got offer letters from 28 Multi-National companies in the seventh Rozgar Mela organized by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Jagpal Singh Abulkhurana under the Ghar Ghar Rozgaar scheme.
Abulkhurana is the front runner for Congress Party’s ticket from Lambi, the constituency represented by former chief minister Prakash Singh Badal for five terms in the Assembly.
“About 2.86 Lakh youth have got jobs through these Job-fairs that are being organized by Punjab government. More than 11 companies and government departments have recruited the youth from the state offering them decent monthly salaries ranging from Rs 10 – 45 thousand,” Abulkhurana said terming the job fairs a brilliant initiative from the government.
“These job fairs provide exposure and ace opportunities to our youngsters to be recruited by established MNCs and prosper in their lives,” Abulkhurana said insisting the Punjab government has done a remarkable job in providing infrastructure in terms of a good school and colleges to the youngsters.
“Even Modi government has acknowledged that we have the best educational infrastructure and declared Punjab the best state for providing education. We are creating more employment opportunities so that our youth can stay in the state and make a decent living,” PPCC General Secretary said lamenting praise to Capt. Amarinder Singh led the government.
The front-runner for Congress ticket in 2022 Assembly elections, Abulkhurana asserted that Shiromani Akali Dal ran a reign of terror and trepidation.
“Akali Dal has no vision and plan for the youth and the farmers. They promoted their cronies and encouraged corruption. Loot and plunder were synonyms to the Akali Dal regime,” Abulkhurana said asserting Congress government has established a rule of law in the state.
He also said that Punjab has got industrial investment worth 90 thousand crores during the Congress regime and the state has added more than 1163 industrial units in this fiscal year despite the Covid pandemic that has otherwise wrecked economies the world over.
Commissioner Daljit Singh Mangat along with Deputy Commissioner MK Aravind, ADC Muktsar Rajdeep Kaur, SDM Malout Gopal Singh, DSP Jaspal Singh Dhillon also graced the occasion while Gurdeep Singh Sekhon Principal State Institute of Automotive & Driving Skills facilitated the event.
