Jalandhar: Power Corporation initiates zonal level meetings to release pensionary benefits to their employees on time

Jalandhar September 16, 2022: In order to provide all pensionary benefits to PSPCL employees at the time of their retirement, Punjab state power corporation limited has initiated meetings at all zonal levels to complete all required formalities and documentation.
This was stated by Engineer Sukhwinder Singh deputy chief engineer tech to the director administration PSPCL while presiding over a meeting of officers of the north zone here today.
He said that on the directions of the Punjab government and PSPCL management such zonal-level meetings are being organized for the last 2 months.
During the meeting Engineer, Sukhwinder Singh called upon the officers/officials of the north zone to work hard with devotion day and night so that PSPCL should able to release all pensionary benefits to PSPCL employees in time.
He said that all the cases related to the pensioners retiring between 01.09.2022 to 30.06.2023 are being settled so that that employees get their retirement and benefits on time.
He said that recently Punjab state power corporation limited has set up a “Pension Helpline” which are providing telephonically service to PSPCL pensioners for providing hassle-free information regarding the status of their pension cases sent by the field offices to the deputy CAO Pension & funds office.
He also informed that now, retirees/wards of the deceased can call/Whatsapp/SMS helpline mobile no. 9646115517 for any information related to the status of their pension case, during office time.
Nishi Rani deputy secretary of pension & regulations said that from 01.09.2022 to 30.06.2023 about 2000 PSPCL employees are going to retire. She said that different zonal level teams are working very hard and we will have very good results in near future.
The meeting was also attended by Superintending Engineer/Hqs (North Zone) Jalandhar Er.
