Jalandhar DC reviews construction work of ITI at Lohian Khas, stressed timely completion
Says, students from Lohian, Shahkot, Nakodar will benefit from this project

Lohian Khas, February 24, 2023: Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh today visited the Lohian Khas to oversee the construction of Industrial Training Centre (ITI) at this town.
He said that the ITI was being built here at an outlay of Rs. 7.61 crore in the area measuring 35039 square feet and it will benefit students from rural areas of Lohian Khas, Shahkot, Nakodar besides others.
The DC further said that this project will prove to be a benchmark to curb unemployment as a large number of students will be able to take up technical courses here, thereby opening new avenues of employments.
Meanwhile, the DC was apprised that the project would be completed within a span of two months as the construction is going- on full-throttle. The deputy Deputy further directed the officials concerned to ensure timely completion of this project as any kind of in-ordinate delay would be highly unwarranted. SDM Randeep Singh Heer, Executive Engineer Balbir Singh, and other officials were present on the spot.
