Tarn Taran: Check out last date to apply for surface seeder machine subsidy for straw management

Tarn Tarn, September 3, 2023: Deputy Commissioner Tarn Tarn Sandeep Kumar said that the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Punjab and Government of Punjab have invited applications through the online portal agrimachinerypb.com to make surface seeder machines available on subsidy for straw management.
The last date for submission of application is September 10, 2023.
He said that Kisan Veer can also scan the barcode given in the advertisement given in the newspapers by Director Agriculture for giving applications. The maximum rate of subsidy on surface seeder under the scheme will be Rs.40,000 per individual farmer and Rs.64,000 per custom hiring center.
Farmers desirous of getting subsidy can submit their applications on the online portal by September 10, 2023 by 5:00 pm.
Chief Agriculture Officer Tarn Tarn Dr. Harpal Singh Pannu said that for more information, the website of the department or the agriculture officers of the district can be contacted.
Apart from this, agricultural advice can be taken on the toll free number 1800 180 1551 of the Kisan Call Center.
