Judicial Magistrate in Nawanshahr celebrates 15th International My Tree Day by cutting cake

Nawanshahr, July 28, 2024: The growing awareness of trees among people and the celebration of days like International My Tree Day has started a new revolution as need of hour.
The history of the tradition of celebrating International My Tree Day is associated with district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. This is the result of the thinking of the people of this area towards the environment.
The young Judicial Magistrate from here, Karanveer Singh Majju, along with his family, celebrated My Tree Day by cutting a cake as special way to respect the trees planted by him. This new approach to the environment should be seen as a revolution.
On this occasion, his father Advocate Madan Gopal, Baldev Saini, Sheela Devi, Dr. Honey Chandel, Tajinder Kaur, Kailash Saini, Renu Arora, Captain Kanika Joshi, Merchant Navy Officer Devanshu Joshi, Yashika, Abhiraj Singh, Medhansh Joshi were also present. On this occasion, 11 more saplings were also planted in the residential area he lives.
Meanwhile Bollywood actress Jyoti Arora from Nawanshahr inspired the common people to plant trees and voluntarily took the responsibility of planting trees in open spaces where feasible.
