Sukhwinder Singh Bindra attends General Council meeting of NISD, details implementation of Central welfare schemes in Punjab

Ludhiana, August 30, 2024: Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, National Member (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India) and former Chairman Youth Development Department (Government of Punjab) attended the General Council meeting of NISD in Delhi.
Bindra asked the Joint Secretary of the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India) Mrs. Monali Dhakate that this time the people of Punjab will be made aware of all the public welfare schemes of the Government of India.
Bindra said that pension schemes will be implemented for women and the elderly as well, so that the people of Punjab will get more benefits.
Bindra said that all the schemes of the central government should be implemented to make the future of the youth in Punjab bright. Bindra said that every effort will be made to eradicate drug addiction in Punjab.
Joint Secretary of the Ministry Ms. Monali Dhakate (IAS) and Ms. Debolina Thakur (IAS), Secretary Mr. Amit Kumar Ghosh (IAS) and Mr. Amit Yadav (IAS) or others were present in this meeting.
