Teachers’ Day celebrated with enthusiasm at HAM College
Ferozepur, September 5: Harmony Ayurvedic Medical (HAM) College celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm on Friday. The program was inaugurated by Chairman Dharmapal Bansal and Director Yogesh Bansal. Chairman Bansal emphasised that respecting teachers is the foremost duty of every student, and teaching is one of the noblest and greatest professions.
Director Yogesh Bansal, in his address, highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day, stating that teachers not only impart knowledge but also shape the moral and professional foundation of students. He recalled that the day is celebrated to honour the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India and a distinguished teacher, who inspired generations with his vision and values. He added that the role of teachers is vital in building a strong society, and such occasions remind everyone of their invaluable contribution.
On this occasion, students presented a series of cultural performances. Principal Dr. Suman extended warm greetings to all teachers. Special contribution in organizing the event was made by Dr. Monika Sharma, while Dr. Sandeep, Dr. Tipu, Dr. Simar, Dr. Jyoti, Dr. Somlata, Dr. Himanshu, Dr. Parveen Goyal, and other faculty members were also present.
