Hoshiarpur: City Halwai Association steps up to help flood victims, donates Rs 1.50 lakh

Hoshiarpur (Punjab), September 10, 2025: Demonstrating human compassion, the City Halwai Association has taken a commendable step to support families affected by the recent floods in the district. Today, the association handed over a cheque of ₹1.50 lakh to the district administration through MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa for relief efforts.
MLA Jimpa expressed his gratitude to the association, stating that support from various sections of society and social organizations during such difficult times will significantly aid flood-affected families.
He further assured that the government of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann remains committed to providing all possible assistance, and the administration is continuously prioritizing relief and rehabilitation work.
Jimpa also highlighted that backing from social organizations strengthens the administration’s efforts and appealed to citizens to come forward to help needy families, ensuring no one feels alone during this crisis.
The donation ceremony was attended by Tehsildar Bheem Saini, Aje Mohan Babbi, Kewal Krishan Gautam, Rakesh Kumar, Praveen Kumar Ohri, Yashpal Saini, Sonu Saini, Prem Kumar Sharma, Prem Raj Purohit, Rakesh Sharma, Vipin Walia Shammi, Aniket Sharma, Deepak Kumar Lakki, and other members of the association.
