Badminton Lovers Club organizes 2-days’ Junior Badminton Tournament
Give priority to studies and sports over use of mobile, tells Punjab Teachers Union
Feroepur, December 4, 2020: Two-days’ Junior Badminton Tournament was organized by Badminton Lovers Club-BLC, which was inaugurated by Punjab Teachers Union, President, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu.
Giving information about the event, Talwinder Sngh, PRO BLC said, in 2-days’ tournament, the teams of Spartans, Smashers and Strikers participated in junior category whereas teas Lions, Titans and Legends took part in sub-junior tournaments.
In all, 24 double matches were played and the winners were honoured with medals and shields.
Bestowing with best wishes to the players, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, Jaswant Singh Khalsa, Baljit Singh Mutti, for playing the game in the spirit of game, said we must spare some time for sports in our life as the exercise in sports play a vital role in maintaining good health.
Giving a word of advice, they said, the youths should restrict the use of mobiles and give preference to their studies and sports as the coming time is of global competition to stand on their own field either by joining the government or doing a private business.
The players were also administered the oath for giving priority to sports over the use of mobile. Harinder Bhuller nicely conducted the programme through on the spot commentary.
