Mohali records maximum COVID cases in a day – 1382 with 14 deaths; death toll crosses 700
Mohali, May 10, 2021:
Mohali district reported a total of 1382 COVID positive cases on Monday, which is highest single-day spike so far. The district also reported 14 deaths due to COVID in the last 24 hours.
Along with this, 303 COVID positive patients have been cured on Monday.
Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan informed that 167 positive cases were found in
Derabassi, 328 in Dhakoli, 72 in Lalru, 31 in Boothgarh, 91 in Gharuan, 256 in Kharar, 14 in Kurali, 12 in Banur and 441 in urban Mohali.
He disclosed that district's COVID tally is 56140, total cured are 43676, total active cases are 11758 and total deaths reported are 706.
