36th National Games: Punjab clinches 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze today (Oct 4)

In the ongoing 36th National Games at Gujarat, Punjab won 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals on Tuesday.
Punjab has won a total of 47 medals so far with 12 gold, 19 silver and 16 bronze medals. Today, the fencers' team of Varinder Singh, Sahajpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh and Dhruv Walia won the gold medal in fencing. In athletics, Twinkle won a silver medal 800m race, Manju Rani won in the 35km walk while Azadveer won silver in archery, and Vishwajit Singh in cycling. The fencing team also won a silver medal. Manpreet Kaur won bronze medals in the weightlifting 87 kg category and Amarjit Singh in cycling.
