DIG BSF graced the opening ceremony of Ferozepur Premier League-2024 at VWS
Ferozepur, February 18, 2024: DIG, BSF Pawan Bajaj graced the opening ceremony of Ferozepur Premier League-2024 on the campus of Vivekananda World School (VWS) with enthusiastic participation from various fields of industrialists, teachers, BSF, judiciary and farmers.
The main objective of this Premier League is to bring people over 30 years who are too busy in their respective businesses or jobs to lose their health and regain their health by bringing them back to the playing field.
The program started with the presentation of bouquets by Dolly Bhaskar and Dr. S. N. Rudra to the Chief Guest, DIG, BSF Pawan Bajaj and Mrs. Monisha Bajaj, Head of BWF. After this, the Ferozepur Premier League was started by taking oaths from the captains of all the teams.
S.N.Rudra, Director VWS said, the event has been organized, to inspire and revive those who once spent major phases of their lives playing cricket in the playgrounds with participation in the Ferozepur Premier League-2024 by Supreme Graphic Cricket Club, Baba Karam Singh Cricket Club, Old Age. Gold XI Club, Electricity Board Cricket Club, Indian Foundry Works, DP XI Cricket Team, Ferozepur Foundation Judicial Cricket Club, Food Supply Cricket Club, Sangam Cricket Club, Ferozepur Strikers, HDFC Lions Club, Teachers XI Cricket Team, BSF Ferozepur, Pandu Cricket Club, Jai Ma Nagar Club, Bajaj XI, Game Changer, Masters XI, Bar Association Cricket Club, Wisdom Warriors District Education Office, Jamani Sahib Cricket Team, Youth XI Cricket Team, Predators Cricket Team and professional strikers. These competitions will continue till March 24 and the final match will be held on the last day which will be day and night and there will also be matches for girls' teams.
Today the first match was between Supreme Graphic Cricket Club and Baba Karam Singh Cricket Club, in which Karam Singh Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. In the second match, PSPCL’s team won by defeating Old Gold's team.
On this occasion, Shalinder Bhalla, Amit Kumar Dhawan, Harsh Arora, Amarjit Singh Bhogal, Prof. Gurtej, Rakesh Sharma, Harinder Bhullar, Satinderjit Singh, Dr KC Arora, Dr Ramesh Sharma, Krishna Awasthi, Ashwani Kumar, Ankush Bhandari, Vipan Garg, Naresh Sharma, Davinder Nath Sharma, Kamal Dravid and others were present.
