Ferozepur, August 9, 2024: In a remarkable act of compassion, renowned social activist Vipul Narang, known as the "Yes Man," has come to the aid of Komal, a promising boxing athlete and former student of Punjab University, Chandigarh. Komal, who tragically lost her arm in an accident, was facing significant financial hurdles in acquiring a prosthetic arm.
Recognising her dire situation, Vipul Narang, in collaboration with the "Manukhta Di Sewa Sab To Waddi Sewa" organisation in Ludhiana, arranged for an electric prosthetic arm valued at approximately ₹1.5 lakh. This generous gesture has allowed Komal to regain her independence and pursue her athletic dreams.
Prominent social worker Gurpreet Singh Mintu lauded Narang's efforts, emphasising that serving humanity is the highest form of service. He encouraged others to step forward and assist those in need, particularly the underprivileged and disabled.
Komal and her brother expressed profound gratitude to the Humanity Service Society and especially to Vipul Narang for this invaluable assistance. With her new prosthetic arm, Komal can now perform her daily activities with greater ease and continue her journey as an athlete.
Vipul Narang has consistently demonstrated his commitment to supporting the disabled and those in need, previously leading initiatives to provide prosthetic limbs, organize blood donation drives, and support underprivileged students and patients.
The event saw the presence of notable figures including Ashok Behl, Secretary of Red Cross, National Awardee Principal Dr. Satinder Singh, Teacher Rajan Manakutala, Guruharshaya, his wife Seema, and Avtar Singh.
