7th Mayank Sharma Memorial Painting Competition on April 14 poster released
Road Safety, Festival of Democracy, shades of Life, Heritage of Ferozepur, Artificial Intelligence among the Themes
Ferozepur, April 9, 2024: In the loving memory of Mayank Sharma, the Mayank Foundation is organizing the 7th Mayank Sharma Memorial Painting Competition on Sunday, April 14 at Gandhi Garden, Ferozepur Cantonment and its poster was released today.
Project Chairman Vikas Gumber said that entry is free in this competition, in which about 1500 contestants will participate. A total of 5 categories have been kept in this competition. The first category is classes 1-3, the second category is 4-5, the third category is 6-8, the fourth is classes 9th to 12th and the fifth is the Open Category in which painters of any age group can participate.
Project Coordinators Deepak Mathpal and Amit Anand said that there are different themes for each category, in the first category children can paint their favourite cartoon characters, my favourite birds and animals and can paint on My Green World. In the second category, which is for students of classes IV and V, children can draw on the themes of Indian monuments, rural life and saving planet Earth. In the third category, the themes are Indian Festivals, My Green World and Earth after 20 years. Themes for students of classes IX to XII are Road Safety, Festival of Democracy and 'Heritage of Firozpur'. Spirituality, Artificial Intelligence and Shades of Life will be the themes for the Open category. Apart from 50 prizes, painting sheets, refreshments and participation certificates will be distributed to all the students.
