14 IAS/IPs officers repatriated to Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi, October 12, 2024: In a significant move, the Union Government has rejected pleas from 14 senior IAS and IPS officers currently serving in Telangana, to continue their postings in the state.
The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions (DoPT) has instructed these officers to return to their designated Andhra Pradesh cadre by October 16.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has confirmed that the allocation process was carried out in compliance with established guidelines to ensure the avoidance of any discriminatory practices. Among those directed to return to Andhra Pradesh are prominent officials, including Ronald Rose (2006 batch), A. Vani Prasad (1995 batch), Vakati Karuna (2004 batch), and M. Prashanti (2009 batch), among others.
