- IAS Vivek Joshi repatriated to Haryana, likely to be next Chief Secretary

  Chandigarh, October 26, 2024: Vivek Joshi, 1989-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre likely to be new Chief Secretary of Haryana.The Central government has repatriated Vivek Joshi to parent cadre Haryana on the request of the state government.
  
  Under Central deputation, Vivek Joshi was holding the post of Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
  
  Joshi is set to replace Haryana’s current Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad. Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad is set to retire on October 31.
