1990 Batch IPS Harinath Mishra gets, Special Director IB, has been posted as Secretary 9 Security) in Cabinet Secretariat in place of Swagat Dass IPS upon his superannuation on 30-11-2024.

Curtailment of Term for DG, IIIDEM
The ACC has approved the early termination of the re-employment term of Retired IAS officer Dharmendra Sharma (AGMUT:88) as Director General of the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM).

New Appointment in Intelligence Bureau
IPS officer Harinath Mishra (KL:90) has been appointed as Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau. He will assume the role of Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat, succeeding IPS Swagat Das (CG:87), who is set to retire on November 30.

Repatriation of IAS Shantmanu
IAS officer Shantmanu (AGMUT:91), currently serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, has been approved for repatriation to his parent cadre. This decision comes at the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
