CBI registers DA case against IPS officer Harcharan Singh Bhullar; Watch Video

Chandigarh, October 29, 2025: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a fresh case against suspended IPS officer Harcharan Singh Bhullar in connection with possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The case has been filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, marking another major step in the ongoing probe against the former Ropar Range DIG. Bhullar was earlier arrested while allegedly accepting a ₹5 lakh bribe, and subsequent searches at his premises led to massive recoveries.
During the raids, the CBI seized approximately ₹7.5 crore in cash, 2.5 kilograms of gold, 26 luxury watches, two high-end cars, around 100 litres of liquor, and documents related to 50 properties.
