IAS officer Vivek Kumar Modi, a 2022 batch officer, has officially assumed the charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Barnala. He took charge at the District Administrative Complex after paying respects at Gurdwara Sahib.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Sub Divisional Magistrate in Adampur, showcasing his commitment to public service.
In his new role, Vivek Kumar Modi emphasized his dedication to ensuring transparent, accountable, and uninterrupted administrative services under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Singh and in alignment with the directives of the Punjab Government.
He further assured that all public welfare schemes implemented by the state government would be executed efficiently at the grassroots level to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive their rightful support.
