Punjab, Chandigarh to see dry weather till April 15; Temperature begins to rise

Chandigarh, April 10, 2026: After several days of rain and thundershowers, weather conditions across Punjab and Chandigarh have stabilized, with dry and clear skies expected to prevail until April 15, according to the Meteorological Department.
No alerts for rain or thunderstorms have been issued during this period.
Temperatures have started to rise gradually across the region, though mornings and evenings continue to feel relatively cool. On Friday, the maximum temperature recorded an increase of 2.8°C compared to the previous day. However, it still remained 4.8°C below the seasonal average.
The lowest maximum temperatures in the state were recorded in Hoshiarpur and Amritsar at 26.4°C, while Chandigarh registered a maximum temperature of 28°C.
