- Punjab Gets Four Newly Appointed IAS Officers; One Secures Home Cadre Posting

  Chandigarh, December 9, 2025:
  The Department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has released the cadre allocation list for newly appointed IAS officers, confirming that Punjab will receive four officers from the latest batch.
  
  The officers allotted to the Punjab cadre are:
  - Adiba Anam Ashfaque Ahmad, originally from Maharashtra
  - Himanshu, a native of Uttarakhand
  - Gurkanwal Singh, who hails from Punjab and has secured his home-state posting
  - Subrat Singh Balot, from Delhi
  The allocations take effect immediately, and the officers are expected to join their respective state cadres after due training.
