Tragic Accident: Speeding school bus overturns, several children injured

Karauli (Rajasthan), October 31, 2025: A tragic road accident in Rajasthan’s Karauli district on Friday morning sent shockwaves across the region. A private school bus carrying several students overturned on the Hindaun road after reportedly losing control at high speed, triggering chaos and panic at the spot.
The mishap occurred near Kyarada village under the jurisdiction of the New Mandi Police Station in Hindaun City. The bus is said to belong to a private school based in Hindaun.
According to preliminary information, the vehicle was speeding when the driver lost control, causing it to overturn on the roadside.
Eyewitnesses described a horrifying scene, as injured children were trapped inside the overturned bus, many of them bleeding and crying for help. Local villagers rushed to the site and immediately began rescue efforts, pulling the children out one by one.
Police personnel and ambulances soon arrived, and all the injured were shifted to Hindaun Hospital for treatment.The hospital witnessed scenes of distress as anxious parents and relatives gathered while medical teams worked to treat the children.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash. The incident has once again raised serious questions about school bus safety, over-speeding, and the enforcement of transport regulations meant to protect schoolchildren.
