KMSC expresses resentment over 3 Farm Laws, hoist black flags atop roofs
Ferozepur, November 16, 2020: To get the three Farm Laws enacted by the Centre government, the farmers in the district, under the banner of Kissan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee – KMSC, hoisted ‘black flags’ atop the roofs.
Farmers leaders Inderjit Singh Bath, President, Baljinder Singh Talwandi Nepala and others said the farmers in the State have observed ‘Black Diwali’ in the State demanding the withdrawal of three black Farm Laws and protest of hoisting the black flags would continue for the coming three days.
They further said, our protest against the withdrawal will continue till such these anti-farmers laws are not withdrawn.
Talking about intensifying the agitation, they made it clear, the operation of passengers trains in the State has no where been agreed and the tracks were cleared only for running of goods trains. However, in this regard, a debate has been announced for November 20 at Pandori Ran Singh Tarn Taran Gurdas Academy which will be attended by senior journalist Hamir Singh, Dr.Pyare Lal Garg, Prof Manjit Singh, Advocate Baldev Singh Sidhu and number of intellectuals.
They said, there is great resentment among every class against the anti-farmers bills but he Centre government is still harping over its stand as farmer-friendly without any logic and convincing statements.
