For God Sake, restrict number of marriage guests: Advocate Arora amid Covid surge
Chandigarh, November 25, 2020: In the view of the surge in Covid-19 cases in the region, Noted Punjab and Haryana High Court H.C Arora on Wednesday asked the government of Punjab and Haryana along with the administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh, to restrict the number of guests in marriage functions to 25.
In the letter to the chief secretary of the Government of Punjab and Haryana and Advisor to Administrator, Union Territory Punjab, to prevent the second wave of Coronavirus to a reasonable extent, there is a need to restrict the total number of guests at marriage related functions to 25.
“For God Sake, curtain/restrict the total number of guests at marriage related functions to 25. In case we have to prevent the outbreak of the second wave of Coronavirus to a reasonable extent. Future generations will hold all of us responsible otherwise,” wrote H.C Arora.
