Sikh for Justice case: NIA issues notices to farmer leaders, journalist
New Delhi, January 16, 2021: A week after Attorney General KK Venugopal told the Supreme Court that Khalistani elements are infiltrating the farmers' protest a, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued notices to several farmer leaders and also a journalist associated with farmers agitation, it has been learned.
The notices have been sent in connection to the investigation into the Sikh for Justice (SFJ) case.
As per the information with Babushahi Network, notices have been issued to many including Jasvir Singh for Shri Mukhtar Sahib, Jasbir Singh Rode of Jalandhar along with others.

They have been asked to appear before the NIA headquarters on January 18. i.e Monday.
On December 15, NIA had registered a case. It has been alleged the banned organization Sikh for Justice and other Khalistan inclined organizations are trying to create an atmosphere of fear among the people and raise a rebellion against the government.
The had NIA filed a charge sheet against 10 Khalistani terrorists in the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) case including designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on December 18 last year.
Sources have informed that NIA has sent notices to farmers leaders as well as a journalist who have been associated with the ongoing farmer's protest.
