Observers appointed for Mohali MC Elections

Mohali, February 1, 2021: The Punjab State Election Commission has appointed the observers for the election of Municipal Councils.
Disclosing this here today, Ashika Jain, Additional District Electoral Officer said that two IAS Officers Keshav Hingonia and Kanwalpreet Kaur Brar have been posted for Mohali district. Fair and transparent elections will be held under the supervision of these observers, said Ashika Jain.
It may be mentioned that nine returning officers for Municipal Corporation elections in Mohali included SDM Jagdeep Saigal for wards 1 to 25, District Revenue Officer Mohali, Gurjinder Singh Benipal for wards 26 to 50, Assistant Commissioner MC Mohali, Garish Verma for Banur, SDM Himashu Jain IAS for Kharar, Estate Officer (Plants), GMADA, Pavitar Singh for Zirakpur, SDM Kuldeep Singh Bawa for Dera Bassi, IAS Assistant Commissioner (UT), Manisha Rana for Kurali, Assistant Commissioner (Complaints) Mohali, Tarsem Chand for Nayagaon and Estate Officer (Housing) Mahesh Bansal for Lalru have already been appointed.
Nine assistant Returning Officers have also been appointed whose nomination papers filling process has already been started from January 30 and it will continue till February 3, informed Ashika Jain.
