Jatt Mahasabha leaders Badheri & Harpura meet Harish Rawat, claim landslide victory of Congress in MC polls
Chandigarh, February 13, 2021: In tomorrow's elections for Municipal Councils, Municipal Corporations, and Nagar Panchayats in Punjab, the securities of Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janata Party candidates are going to be forfeited and the Congress candidates will win all the seats by a landslide.
This revelation was made here today by eminent farmer leader, Chandigarh State President of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of the Mahasabha. Mr. Rajinder Singh Badheri while issuing a press note after meeting Mr. Harish Rawat, former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand & In Charge of affairs related to Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
Badheri was accompanied by the President of the Punjab unit of the All India Jatt Mahasabha and the National Delegate of the Mahasabha. Harpal Singh Harpura.
Rajinder Singh Badheri along with his colleagues visited Mohali district and S. Harpal Singh Harpura campaigned in Gurdaspur district. Presenting the ground report on the local body elections in Punjab to Mr. Harish Rawat, he said that apart from the present Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh no other public leader was left to lead the state.
"The naked faces of the leaders of all other parties have been exposed to the public in the recent past. People now know their reality. No one is sincerely sympathetic to Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat. In one way or another, everyone is playing tricks in connivance with RSS and the BJP-led Central Government," said Badheri and S. Harpura in a joint statement.
"That is why the general public will enjoy the crushing defeat of those parties in these local body elections. The Congress party under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh is getting stronger day by day in Punjab. The people of Punjab know that the development of their state is possible only with the leadership of Captain," they further added.
