Always verify news on Covid-19 vaccine before sharing: Punjab Police
Chandigarh, February 22, 2021: Amid different take on Covid-19 vaccines being circulated on social media, the Punjab police are urging public to always verify the news of Covid-19 vaccine before sharing it further.
"We urge all not to fall into baseless rumors related to Covid-19 vaccine. Always verify news before sharing," read Punjab Police Twitter handle.
In a video message shared by the Punjab Police on its official twitter handle, Sub-inspector Sonamdeep Kaur-SHO Begowal-Kapurthala who recently got a vaccine jab under the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination drive in Punjab shared her experience and appealed people to get the jab.
“I urge everyone to get the Covid-19 vaccine. Earlier, I was apprehensive of getting the vaccine fearing any side effects. Other than a mild fever, I have not experienced any other problem,” said Sonamdeep Kaur in a video message.
“We are frontline workers, we should be responsible of our health,” she further added.
