Mohali police to start COVID vaccine camps in busy markets with support of health dept
Mohali, April 19, 2021:
On Monday evening, a team of Mohali police led by SSP Satinder Singh visited busy markets of the city to enquire the vaccination status of those running restaurants and eateries and the street vendors.
The team of police including SP (City) Harvinder Singh Virk, DSP (City 1) Gursher Singh and DSP (city 2) Deep Kamal visited the markets of Phase 3B2, Phase 7 and Phase 10. They enquired personally the status of vaccinations of super spreaders like restaurants, eateries, street vendors.
The police officials also sensitized them to get vaccinated and to adhere to guidelines issued by the Government to control the spread of coronavirus.
SSP Satinder Singh informed that special camps for vaccinations will be organized with the help of Health department in the markets from Tuesday (April 20).
