KMSC prepares for prolonged protests at Delhi borders over 3-Farm Laws
Ferozepur, April 28, 2021: The farmers have started strengthening communication and other infrastructure to continue the agitation with managing logistics at Delhi protests sites. The farmers after free from harvesting and marketing of their crop have started working on intensifying the agitation already going on, against the 3-Farm Bills at Delhi borders.
The farmers had been protesting at Delhi borders since September against the three central farm legislations and during this period, they had organized protests march and tractor rally also on January 26. Farmers want the Union government to either withdraw the here legislations or guarantee them the minimum support price (MSP for their crops by introducing a new law. Several national and regional farm unions, comprising many leaders, have joined hands under the umbrella banner of Samyukt Kisan Morcha. Farmers also believe the new laws will end their relationship with the arthias and corporates will not be as sympathetic towards them in times of need.
On Wednesday, Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC) in its meeting has decided to hold zone wise meetings for five days from May 4-8, with special focus on the collection of funds and to motivate the farmers to join the agitation, for repealing of three agriculture black laws and to torpedo the feeling it as their responsibility, Baljinder Singh Talwandi, District Vice Media Secretary, after holding its first meeting in which Satnam Singh Pannu was also present.
He said, there is a need to now intensify the agitation, to thwart the attempts of the Modi government to fail the farmers’ agitation. Under the guise of Corona, the Modi government is forcibly locking the people in their homes to promote the Corporate houses – Ambani and Adani.
