Chandigarh reports 8 deaths & 801 new COVID-19 cases
Chandigarh, April 29, 2021:
Chandigarh reported 801 new COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday. Eight deaths due to COVID were also reported in the last 24 hours.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 6,652.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 3,821 samples. As per the figure, 465 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to COVID-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 41,923.
