Another Mini COVID care centre opens opens at a school of Chandigarh
Chandigarh, May 12, 2021:
A 25-bedded mini COVID Care Centre has been opened at Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Sector 27 here.
Manoj Parida, IAS, Advisor to the Administrator UT Chandigarh inspected the facility before being opened to the people to bring in Covid-19 patients.
Setup jointly by BeSure Buddy Pvt Ltd and Sri Aurobindo Society, the facility is equipped with all the necessary equipment and medical supplies.
Speaking on the occasion, Parida said, “On just a small appeal of the administration, the mini COVID care centres are being opened within a short period of time. People will never forget the contribution of these NGOs and societies. I visited the centre here and can say that it has infrastructure and facilities just like a top hospital.”
Mrs Sartaj Lamba of BeSure Buddy said that the virus is spreading fast in the country, and more such facilities by the private enterprises shall help in providing necessary medical support to the patients.
Arvind Mehan, Trustee Chair of Sri Aurobindo Society said that the premises have been provided to help patients recover in peace with dedicated oxygen supply, on-site monitoring, clinical and nursing attention. The BUDDY care app for the COVID centre was also launched on this occasion.
