Ask DC to make available medicines at Red Cross on No Profit No Loss basis
MLA Pinki visits 70-bed Isolation Ward at Civil Hospital Ferozepur
Ferozepur, May 14, 2021: Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA on Friday visited Isolation Ward at Civil Hospital where arrangements for 70 beds have been made and 22 patients are getting treatment. Civil surgeon Dr. Rajender Raj, DHO Dr.Meenakshi Dhingra and staff were also present on the occasion.
Pinki MLA said, “There is shortage of oxygen in the civil hospital and in Isolation Ward, arrangements for 70 beds have been made and those whose report is positive for corona and in isolation at home, Carona Fateh Kits are being delivered at their homes. I am in constant touch with the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Health Minister Punjab to meet the shortage of specialized doctors and staff in the hospital. But due to lack of specialist doctors across Punjab, the Health Department is facing some difficulties”.
MLA also appealed to the people to get the Covid vaccine and to avoid this virus and follow the government guidelines to put a check over its further spread. He further said, DC has been asked to make arrangements for required medicines, oxygen or any other material required for corona patients direct from the companies and keep it with Red Cross Society to be available for the common man on no profit, no loss basis.
Making it clear, he said, amid Corona pandemic, the black marketing of medicines, oxygen etc will not be tolerated and in case anyone found doing so, a strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
