Veterans joins Vajra Corps in fight against COVID-19
Jalandhar, May 20, 2021: A 98 years old Veteran, Lance Naik Kesho Lal Verma (Retd) of Army Service Corps came to the Station Commander, Jalandhar Cantonment with proud smile and donated Rs 1 Lakh to Indian Army in the fight against COVID-19. The Veteran is a proud soldier whose contribution proves his involvement and will at this age. Veteran has displayed the true ethos of Indian Army ‘Selfless and unrelentless’ service to nation and its people.
The Veteran was born on 22 November 1922. He had served with Royal Indian Army Service Corps (MT), South East Asia Command prior to independence and continued to serve with Indian Army till he retired in 1965.
