Jalandhar Administration assures hospitals of skilled professional for treating COVID-19
Jalandhar, May 25, 2021: Under its ongoing effort to combat the raging COVID-19, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Jalandhar Vishesh Sarangal has announced a unique initiative that will help to streamline the COVID-19 treatment in the health facilities of the district.
ADC (Development) Jalandhar Vishesh Sarangal announced that skilled medical professionals will be provided to the health establishments. He mentioned that under the Punjab skill development Mission, the administration will provide free training for these courses and will bear all the expenses. The free training will be provided to the fresh candidates as well as RPL in the six job roles developed by Health Sector Skill Council related to COVID-19. The training of the candidates will be of 21 days with upskilling of 7 days," ADC (Development) added.
It is worth mentioning that under the Punjab Skill Development Mission, training will be provided for six job roles including Emergency Medical-Technician, General Duty Assistant, GDA-Advanced (Critical Care), Home Health Aide, Medical Equipment Technology Assistant, and Phlebotomist.
The administration has now asked all the health establishments to inform their requirements that will be fulfilled by the administration.
" All Hospitals to note, since many of you would be facing a shortage of trained manpower, Punjab government and Govt of India have come up with a solution to provide a skilled medical professional to you. Kindly fill in your requirements so that we can mobilize maximum Personnel to fulfill your requirements," he asked all the health facilities in the district.
