Black Day in Pictures: Kisan Morcha hoists black flag, burns Govt’s effigy at Singhu border

Singhu Border, New Delhi, May 26, 2021: Intensifying its protest against the three farm bills, the Kisan Morcha observed Black Day at Singhu border and also burnt Centre government’s effigy.
The call for Black Day and nation-wide protest was given by Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on the completion of six months of farmers protest and alleged failure of the PM Narendra Modi led government to resolve farmers issue.
The protesting farmers at Singhu at firm on their demands of repealing three farm laws and fixing MSP.
Various protesting farmers expressed resentment towards BJP government in the Centre.It is worth mentioning that 12 opposition parties including Congress, Trinamool Congress, Left Parties, SP, NCP and DMK have extended support to Kisan Morcha for nationwide protest call.
The protesting farmers have clarified that they are not blocking any roads during the protest.
