Corona vaccine can protect against threat of third wave : Civil Surgeon
Fazilka June 10, 2021: With the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the country and concerns being raised about a possible third wave, experts caution that the next wave could be less severe if people keep following Covid-appropriate behaviour and a large portion of the population is vaccinated.
In the present situation, vaccination is the solution to prevent the third wave, Civil Surgeon Fazilka Dr. Parminder Kumar expressed satisfaction over the recent decline in Corona cases.
He said that now the responsibility of all of us is increasing because if we all together make sure to wear a good mask, social distance and frequent hand washing or use of sanitizer then one day not a single person in the district will be positive.
He added that one of the major contributors to the decline in coronary heart disease is immunization and that is why it is important for us to come forward and motivate others to get as many vaccinations as possible.
The Civil Surgeon said, we can make a valuable contribution in protecting ourselves and the society from the Corona epidemic, only by vaccination. Without any doubt or superstition, evefyone should get vaccinated to prove that he is a responsible citizen.
He said that District Immunization Officer Dr. Charanjit Singh and District Mass Media Officer Anil Dhamu visited the immunization camp at Radha Swami Satsang Ghar in Fazilka today and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements with dedication and devotion in service to humanity, under the supervision of Rajinder Chuchra.
