Chandigarh eases COVID curbs further; read details (Copy of order attached)
Chandigarh, July 13, 2021: With the decline in the COVID-19 cases, UT Chandigarh has announced more relaxations in COVID curbs on Tuesday.
In a war room meeting on COVID-19 management headed by UT Chandigarh Administrator VP Singh Badnore, it was decided that the number of guests for social gatherings like wedding would be increased to 200 or 50% capacity of the banquet hall, whichever is less with the condition that all adult guests and staff of the hotels/banquet halls to have received at least one dose of vaccine or to have negative RT-PCR report of last 72 hours.
Likewise, the administration has also decided the reopen Rock Garden and Museums subject to COVID protocols to be strictly followed.
UT Chandigarh also allowed Cinema halls and spas be allowed to function with 50% capacity. The administration has also taken a call on the reopening of schools from July 19 with certain restrictions.
