AAP a big hope for every section oppressed by Badals & Congress: Raghav Chadha
Congress is fighting for CM's seat, not for the people
Ludhiana, July 18, 2021: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national spokesperson and Punjab Affairs co-in charge and MLA Raghav Chadha said that after 10 years of the Badals’ mafia rule; the Captain Amarinder Singh government which came to power four and half years ago, had left every section of the state helpless. At such a critical juncture, the Aam Aadmi Party is the only brightest hope for Punjab today.
Raghav Chadha was here on Sunday to get senior Akali leader Chaudhary Madan Lal Bagga to join the AAP.
He was accompanied by Leader of Opposition (LoP) Harpal Singh Cheema, Deputy Leader of Opposition Saravjit Kaur Manuke, MLA Master Baldev Singh, and other leaders.
"Today Punjab and the politics of Punjab were going through a very bad period. On the one hand, the Badals had squandered all the dignity and principles of the Shiromani Akali Dal and turned it into a private limited company, which is hated by every child today. The Congress, on the other hand, is a party that is not fighting for justice in sacrilege, not fighting for the rights of farmer,s-laborers and not fighting against unemployment and drugs. It is not fighting for the dignity of women and the elderly and against power mafia, sand mafia, transport mafia," he asserted.
“The Congress is only fighting for the Chief Ministership and the presidency,” added Chadha.
Referring to Punjab and the destitute people of the state, Raghav Chadha said that Congress should end the seat war as soon as possible and at least should spend the last six months in the service of the people. “Think of Punjab and the people of Punjab instead of the chair, otherwise be prepared to face the wrath of the people like the Badals,” he added.
He said that today every section of Punjab was looking at the Aam Aadmi Party as a hope.
