DLSA celebrates National Constitution Day in 125 schools, colleges in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, November 26, 2021: The National Constitution Day was celebrated in as many as 125 schools and colleges under the tutelage of in charge District and Session Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sachin Sharma.
A seminar on this occasion was organized at Govt Sr. Sec School Bazidpur presided over by Ekta Uppal, CJM-cum-DLSA.
Kulwant Kaur, Principal welcoming the guest, the students presented songs, poems, and briefs on the Constitution.
On this occasion, Ekta Uppal said that our country's constitution is bigger than any other country in the world and also read out the constitutional resolution on the occasion.
She also elaborated on the fundamental rights and duties of Indian citizens as good citizens of this country.
She said, that this day is also being celebrated by the Legal Literacy Clubs of 125 schools in the district with various activities. She also mentioned the National Lok Adalat on December 11 and how the common man can take advantage of the facilities available. The facility of toll-free number 1968 of DLSA, was also promoted.
She said that our office has opened Legal Literacy Clubs in various high and senior secondary schools of district Ferozepur. In these clubs, various activities are conducted along with education for the purpose of legal literacy. In which poster making, speech competition, beautiful writing competition, painting competition, and many more activities are conducted. With this, it places special emphasis on multi-faceted development in the personality of the students.
